Description

• The ABB 1SBL411025R8300 GA75 contactors are specifically designed for DC circuit switching, where arc suppression can be more challenging compared to AC circuits. Selecting the right contactor requires knowledge of the current and voltage that needs to be interrupted, as well as the L/R time constant of the power circuit to be controlled.

• These GA75 contactors feature a block-type design and are equipped with specialized features for efficient DC breaking. The main poles of these contactors are fitted with arc chutes that incorporate permanent magnets, specifically designed for DC breaking. The three contactor paths are arranged in series via two supplied and fitted insulated connections (25 mm²).

• The GA75 contactors are "single-pole" devices, and it's essential to respect the connection polarities indicated next to the connection terminals. They are marked as 1L1 for the positive terminal and 2T1 for the negative terminal.
